Hi all,
I'm trying to encode some videos to xvid with avidemux by following the suggestions in this post. Unfortunately, the avidemux interface has changed quite a bit since this post was written.
There's now a "macroblock decision" dropdown with the following options: None, DCT, Qpel16, Qpel8 and Square - with Qpel8 being the default settings. The above post (as well as some other threads I've read) suggest that Qpel should be avoided when aiming for compatibility with divx certified players.
Since the Qpel option can't be simply unchecked anymore what should be selected instead? Any help appreciated.
