  1. Hi! ok, i've been downloading mpeg's from thge internet for the past 2 years and now i realised "hey wait! i can't make them as VCD'S and watch them on my playstation!"... well anyway i burnt it at speed 4 (fastest my cd burner can go) and then i got my chipped playstation outta teh cupbaord where it had tonnes of dusts on it and plugged in the VCD car thing on the back (you know what i mean, it's that thing! ah, um this http://www.lik-sang.com/catalog/product_info.php?category=0&products_id=206& ) and when i stick that in my Playstation and flip it to "VCD" and the light blinks i connect my scart cable from the back bit of the VCD ad on to the scart port in my tv.. but, the picture is all jumpy and i make out that it says "please wait" (ya i do have it on the Scart channel, incase you're wondering) anyway, so i do wait and then after 20 seconds i hear the music to the first file/track on the VCD play (blink 182 - rock show) so i look at the tv but it's still all jumpy and says please wait although it is playing the music to the first file/video... it still says "please wait"... i'm new to this...totally! oh ya the red, white and yellow ports are unused both ont eh VCD Playstation Add On and the actual Scart Cable.... and once it plays "rock show" it moves on to "vex red - can't smile" so it does play them..... kinda.. any idea of how i can get the videos to actually play?..... thanks very much... Kev...

  2. Yea man....

Do NOT use a PLAYSTATION OR DREAMCAST as a VCD recorder. These machines are not designed to play VCDs, that is why there are chips and plug in ports...

The Ps1 and Dreamcast all do that when playing VCDs..........
