    Hi guys I would like to convert my camcorder 8mm analog tapes on to a disc. I don't want a small screen like ripped movies I have seen. I would like to back up my 8mm tapes so I can play them in a dvd player and view them on my tv at full screen just like a vhs tape. I don't know what format it would be or if I need a capture card. I was told you have to convert from analog to digital first.

    Man am I confused please help me out I am a new newbie.
