    What type of PC videos? MP4? MKV? AVI? What brand/model DVD player?

    Short answer: the easiest solution is to buy a cheap BluRay player and use that instead of your DVD player. The USB playback abilities of BD players are much broader than DVD players: they can play almost any "PC Video" file you can load on a pen drive. I use an old LG BD player I bought used off eBay for less than $50. Nearly any BD player will have similar capabilities.

    Converting files to make them compatible with more-limited DVD player decoding abilities can be tedious and time-consuming. It almost always involves quality loss, and file sizes can balloon if you aren't careful. Most likely you'd need to convert your videos to AVI format, with specs that meet the requirements of your DVD player. Many utilities available here from the VH Tools library can do this. Personally, I would not bother: it isn't worth the trouble when using a BD player instead solves the problem instantly, while adding full HDTV playback quality.
