Probably a stupid user error on my part due to lack of sleep, but I've got a dumb question.
Always used MKVMerge to create 1 large output file from multiple individual audio and video files. Great.
I'm trying to create individual MKA tracks from an DVD-Audio that I ripped for my network media player. Extracted video from MKV file with MKVCleaver. Got my .dts audio track files for each of the tracks. I can use MKVMerge to put the dts back into an MKA container with no problem. But when I try to set up multiple jobs, I'm still ending up with one large MKA file with all the tracks.
My desired outcome is Track1.mka, Track2.mka, Track3.mka, etc.
What step am I obviously missing for this seemingly simple task?

What do you mean by "when I try to set up multiple jobs"? Are you using the CLI? Then just run the command multiple times (with changed input/output file names, of course). Are you trying to use the GUI? Go Preferences->Multiplexer and choose a different option in the "When dropping files:" drop-down menu. You need a separate job (in the GUI it's separate tabs) for every output file.

Maybe you can drag your all files to Mkvtoolnix. Then in preference in multiplexer set always ask user. When you drag multiple files to source windows, then select Create new multiple settings for each file. Then setup each file output and add it to job queue. After all is done, go to job queue select all files here and right click start jobs immediately. That's all. Hope it is understandable step by step

Using the GUI.
When I drag the files, I do get 10 different tabs.
But when I press "Start Multiplexing" I'm still ending up with 1 big file at the end.
I'm doing 'something' wrong, but can't figure out what it is.
When I drop 10 tracks into the "input" window, I'm choosing "Create new Mutiplex settings for each file.

I guess I'm looking for a way to not have to add each tab to the job queue individually from 11 different tabs.
Like, add all files to the input, and have it process each of the files individually.
Is that just not how it works?
Thanks for your quick help. -

You need to use Multiplexer->Actions for all tabs->[..]
Also check that every tab has a different output file name. If that is not the case check Preferences->Multiplexer->Output. -
