  7. Mikerios, what do you mean by "Reauthor" When I rip the DVD I get the menu it's just Is it interactive or just part of the movie sequence?

  8. Read the guides on the site!!

    If you are going to rip one DVD onto two DVD-R, then you will definitely have to re-author the menu system. There are no programs that will magically split the original DVD into two and then have perfectly working menus.

    IFOEDIT is a great tool but it isn't magic. Although you can split a DVD and retain original menus -- it can't reorganise/author the menus (without significant user input) so that redundant menu screens are removed (e.g., the scene selection menus/options for the other disc).
