    Hi, has anyone already seen this error message with Nero? I got "Power Calibration Error" when trying to burn a DVD-R. It's the latest version (5.5.8.0).

    Did do a uninstall of the older version of Nero before you went to 5.5.8.0?
    I have seen some weird errors if you just upgrade. Also, if you have some crap media you might get an error.

    Yes, I upgraded an older version. I don't think it's a media problem, I used the pioneer disk that come along with the drive. Do you think it will work if I remove Nero and Install again?

    I would try that. I recently did the upgrade to 5.5.8.0 and it caused lockups and other strange errors. After I uninstalled and reinstalled no problem since.
