  1. I have used the new Nero 5535 a couple of times and think it may be better playing from one file to the next. It seems as though the pause that was once there is now closer to be gone. Anybody else notice this?

I have tried a few other machines and its always the same.

I am running ME. I have seen other people complaining
of the same problem. Does anyone know what the problem
    is?

    Thanks,

    J.

You could try to uninstall the older version before installing the new one.

I downloaded 2 versions of the 5.5.3.5. one from
a.)ftp4 site using download accelerator plus
b.)ftp2 site using the normal download in Windows.

a.) unzipped, built temp directory but wouldn't install.
    b.) everything worked fine.

That means that either version a.) was faulty or the Download Manager corrupted the file.

    Just for info!!

I've tried to upgrade from 5.5.2.3 to 5.5.2.5 and I got the error on the VCD/SVCD templates : "The Pegasus ImagXpress library is not installed" ...
    So, I can't see any menu image/preview.

I've tried to install NERO 5.5.2.4 first, uninstall all , etc..

    I'm using W2000.

    Any clue ?

  7. What's with these guys? They have a new version of their product and their site doesn't even have it listed on the "Version History" page.

I am not upgrading until I see what they (claim) have changed.

Still on 5.5.2.3 and it works fine.

  8. I've got the same problem....... blue screen on reboot it tells me about an vxd error in scsi (i have a Plextor IDE) but is possible to continue pressing a key... i press the key and all seems to be OK.... but when i launch Nero another blue svreen appear, and this is the famous "blue screen of death" the only way out is to reset the pc. I run WinMe on an Athlon1200 and Asus a7v133.
I tried uninstalling the old version (5530) but the result it's the same.........
    May be a nero's bug?

OK, I just downloaded 5.5.3.5. I uninstalled 5.5.1.8, reboot, installed 5535 and everything is fine.
WinME, Athlon1,2 ,Abit KT7, Plextor IDE.
    No blue screen.

  10. On the additional ones who were successful at the new install, Was there more seamless transition between chapters as stated in the first post?

  11. it could be the version (5525), which i haven't upgraded to yet. still using 5524 which works great so far. mind you i haven't used the features you've mentioned (menu image/preview), if it's even part of 5524.

my setup is a dell pIII 550, diamond viper v770d also using W2K.

    sorry for the non-help.

Not on my standalone player, but there is a almost seamless transition between TRACKS, when I play it with WinDVD 3.0.
