I recently received a box of 6.35mm reel to reels that my Grandfather made of us kids. I am looking for a reel to reel projector in order to watch them but am not savvy to vintage videos. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have looked online but cant find anything make or model to look for. Thanks

6.35mm reel to reels ?? That sounds like 1/4" audio tape, not video. If it is movie film, then it is probably 8mm or Super8.
If it is audio tape (brown, opaque), then any garden-variety audio tape deck can be used to do the transfer. If it is movie film, then dozens of places near you can do the transfer, including Costco (they send it to "Yes Video").Last edited by johnmeyer; 17th Nov 2016 at 14:48. Reason: small typo

John,
Thank you so much for your reply. I went back and looked at the films and you are correct. All were audio except for one and the tape is a little large than the others. Plus I can see the small still photos in them.
