Is there a way to make video not as pixelated when saved via Liversreater?

I looked online and it seemed like the more general answer was my connection speed, but if there a command or something I can do in addition to help improve the picture saved via a live m3u8 url? Like a way to make sure Livestreamer is the only thing using the internet or a command to draw more of the stream out?

Don't know if this will help
If you want to limit internet access,
Goto your firewall settings, and deny internet permission to all other programs expert your browser and live streamer

You might find this a lot more hassle than it's worth
