    While I have used some codecs in the past to watch some videos, I had some trouble with encoders like FFMPeg and I would to know how to know how do you know if it is installed?

    It's portable. IE: the files sit in their own folder and run from there.

    And "codecs" and "encoders" are not the same thing.
