I am having problems with my dvd rips
I am not getting the quality I desire, sometimes words are not matching up with mouth and also getting choppy video.
I have ripped probably 100-200 movies and the problem seems to be getting worse lately and I am looking for some suggestions
My system specs
Windows XP
1.2 GHZ
640 Megs of RAM
60 gig hard drive
I am running power dvd 4.0 for my dvd software
the software I am running, which has not been updated in a while is
smart ripper, like version 2.31 i think or maybe 2.34
I leave all the default setting like in sefy's template
dvd2avi 1.76, I dont change anything at all, nothing
Just go in an open the vob files and thats it
then i am using tmpge, I think an old version because there is no wizard
I do not make any changes. I rip them on High quality, not highest quality because I heard there is not much difference. I also have detect scene changes marked. Is there anything else I need to do to get BETTER QUALITY so that the words match up all the time and the video is not as choppy from time to time
Thanks
any suggestion appreciated
