Hello,
i have a problem when capturing from my new easy-cap ,, i want to convert my old vhs tapes with my easy-cap to videos and play it back through my computer ,, everything was easy except color all captured videos are in black and white ,, and when i made search i found that there is option called pal and ntsc so i tried to edit options of the video capture software but image still in black and white ,, so i tried to know my vhs player type and if it is pal or ntsc so i found that ,, my vhs plater type is panasonic nv-sd25 vhs ,, and it is support pal and ntsc and i found a system button on my vhs player was set on ntsc 3.58 while recording all tapes ,, while video capture program has option ntsc 4.43 ,, so what i want to know ,, if i change the system button to ntsc 4.43 while playing back my video tapes will solve the problem or not and i want to know what is pal and ntsc and if this option has effect while recording or while playing back video tapes ,, note: i tried my easycap with humax receiver and it was colored.
Thanks.

You're in a PAL zone so in general you should be working in PAL from start to finish. That means recording, playback, tv, capture card -- everything should be set to PAL.
As for changing the button during playback -- try it. You won't harm anything. -
problem solved after set system button to pal on my vhs player and set my video capture software to pal 60 but the quality was very bad compared with the quality when played my vhs tapes on samsung led screen,, the picture has a spectrum when it moves ,, sorry i cannot get the good expression from my description ,, i will record video and show you ,, now i want to know if there is another methods to convert them with the same quality and if i can record the screen when i play it on my Samsung led screen

You are in PAL 50 zone most likely. Considering that you don't know what's PAL and NTSC are, You will be better off sending your tapes to be converted by a professional, You can't put a price on the memories of your life.

PAL 60 is the type of signal that a multi-system PAL VCR produces when playing an NTSC tape. PAL 60 has the same frame rate and the same number of lines per frame as NTSC, but NTSC color is converted to follow the PAL standard, and provided at 4.43 MHz instead of 3.58 MHz.
By most accounts, PAL 60 is not easy to capture. I don't know if your EasyCap is one of the capture devices that can capture PAL 60 properly. Many capture devices don't. Also, not all capture devices that are sold as an EasyCap have the same chips inside.
It would indeed be helpful to provide a screenshot showing the color defects in your video for the benefit of someone who can tell you what is wrong.
This webpage has examples of various color defects, in case nobody experienced in identifying them sees this thread. http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/capture/chroma_artefacts.html
