    I currently own a Apex 1500 and although the dvd compability list on this sight says it supports dvd-rw's it does not. I am looking for one that does support dvd-rw. I see the compatibility guide says that a lot of dvd players are compatible with dvd-rw. I just don't want to take a chance and buy a new dvd player and it not be able to read dvd-rw. Has anyone tested out which dvd player reads dvd-rw's?

    I have a Panasonic RV-31 and it plays DVD-RW's just fine. It has a problem with SVCD's however.

    I would guess any Pioneer player would play DVD-RW, since Pioneer is pushing that format. But thats only a guess.
