Little Errors when watching VCD´s on DVD PLayers

hi there :-)
i´m new on this forum, hope someone can answer my question.
i converted some divx into vcd, ok.
when i watch them on PC there aren´t any errors, but on dvd player, sometimes the picture is getting blocked.
so on what does this error depend? i think from the dvd player and which type of CD-R i use.
has anyone an idea???

It sounds like its simply down to the quality of the conversion.
Use the highest settings for quality, use VBR 2 pass for the bitrate thingy,
and don't be stingy on the CD-Rs! Id rather have a film on 3 cds with
good quality than two with it being blocky.
