WDM Drivers and Win2k? No go? or is it just virtualdub?

virtualdub and any other say that the device is being used and it cannot find a capture driver. if I install the VFW drivers all is well but if I install the new 2.27 WDM from hauppauge site I get the error. I have a WinTV Theater

try and search the forums for "wrapper" (and possibly '6292'). you need to convert WDM back into VFW. we posted 50 zillion times on this about ATI cards. (6292 refers to a specific ATI driver that can be installed instead of a wrapper, but those posts also have info in them)

You do need a wapper the 227 drv are mess up and yes virtualdub not working like it shoud be.

the wrapper is general, it works for any WDM drivers, regardless of manufacturer.

well no go, I tried two things. one I cleared all drivers out and then installed the vfw drivers and then instaled the wrapper. WinDVR starts up but finds no hardware. then I installed the WDM 2.27 drivers and then installed the wrapper and same thing and Virtualdub wont start up. sigh help
