  1. hi, everyone, i have a 20 gig video file that I need to cut into 4 segments to store on DVD. My cutters fail to handle this size file. Does anyone have a solution for me? thanks

    You could place inside an RAR archive using whatever compression tool that you use.

    You could also use a file splitter such as HJSplit.

    If you intend to make this a habit, I'd recommend investing in a Blu-Ray burner. Having said that, I'd personally just use a HDD.

    I think your math is a little weak as a DVD-5 holds 4.37GB, so you'll need 5 segments.

  5. MKVMergeGUI can split MKVs. MyMP4BoxGUI can split MP4s. TS Muxer can split TS/M2TS files.

    Why not get a BluRay disc and save the file as "data"?
