problems opening pinnacle projects

hi guys

my sister has installed pinnacle studio ultimate 17 on her computer. we save the work as a movie project but then when we try to open it there is no file to open.

any ideas ??

It sounds like you may be confusing the project files with actual media files -- but you haven't provided nearly enough information. What error messages are you getting?

I know this sounds academic but make sure you are looking in the right drive and folder where the project was saved. If you cannot remember or do not know where the project was saved but you do know the name of the project in full or in part, do a search.

my sister emailed pinnacle after i advised her to do so. the reply came this morning saying that we should look for ".AXP" files. we did and only found one that didn't open anything - it was just a blank open project. it doesn't show any other files with .AXP extensions on the whole computer even though we did save other projects under other names.

maybe i am missing something.
