    Hello,
    I cannot start CCE to encode ... it states that it cannot find an appropriate video codec for dvsd.
    I am trying to convert an AVI file that was captured from a dv camera through a firewire.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi there,

    You need to install stand-alone DV codec into your Windows system.
    Codec like MainConcept DV codec.
