    Can someone please tell me why about every 30 seconds when playing a vcd...the video gets all blocky then returns to normal and repeats? Thanks

    ur DVD isn't hacked to play VCD is it.

    That sounds like it could be any of these problems.

    1.) Bad encoding
    2.) Burn error ( i doubt it)
    3.) Bad DVD player firmware
    4.) Bad DVD player.
    5.) Bad media.
    6.) DVD laser can't read ur CD-R(W) well.
