Hi there.
A few months back, I had posted an issue with the quality of the hauppauge wintv go pci, it was NOT AN interlacing issue, there were lines on the screen.
update:
I changed the motherboard, to different manufacturers, 3 times and found a good one.
Hauppauge replaced the card, the next card was faulty!
So I gave it back to jungle.com and the sent me another one
Tested it today and still the lines!
Also, no option to capture in YU12 format, now it is YVU12 and won't play the video, just audio!
Anyway,
I spoke to the manager over the phone today, saying to do one thing:
get a scart to composite converter cable, this will determine if the card it faulty, or the cable box.
so I rushed out an bought it, £12.99!
now, I tried connecting it in different ways to my standalone DVD player, no use, all I got was the DVD channel!
If I switched to ant, I got the TV channel, no change in picture quality.
Now, I need to know, how do I connect this scart to make sure I get a "different" signal than the ANT/RF cable?
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
