Ok, so I read a post on this problem before but I am having no luck really with it. My problem is I recorded a video using CamStudio and the file size is 4GB and the video length is 26m 43s. Now, I've used VirtualDub and it only recovered the last few seconds of the video. I also used FormatFactory and it only recovered the last 3m 6s of the video. Does anyone out there know why only the last bit was recovered and how I can get the rest of the video. I'm a total newb at all this, but I'm sure there has to be a way to recover the video. Please help!!!

Okay, I'll say it. Search these boards and you will find all kinds of good disk recovery programs and advice on how to use them -- but a video file, and a 4GB video file at that, is not coming back. If you've used the computer at all its a near-certainty that at least part of it has been overwritten.

Hi I made a recording on Camstudio.
The file is under 4GB but 0 length time. does this mean nothing was recorded? I tried using VirtualDub that doesn't work too.
