Does anyone know how to burn a DVD like Stevie Ray Vaughn concert that is on a DVD and convert it into MP3 or WAV files so I can play them in a CD player? I am a newbie at this

  2. I capture the audio in analog(soundcard) and convert using CDex.

    1) Rip the DVD with SmartRipper *
    2) Create a d2v project from the ripped VOBs with DVD2Avi. This will make a pointer file for the video, which you can ignore, and a WAV file of the Dolby Digital downmix. Since Stevie Ray Vaughn was a CBS (now Sony) artist, this DVD may already contain a PCM track, but it will be sampled at 48kHz, and you'll need one sampled at 44.1kHz for your final CD
    3) Drop this (gigantic) WAV file into Nero's audio CD creator
    4) Drop in your track (and, if you wish, index) markers so the CD will contain selectable tracks
    5) Burn as an audio CD

    * Note, if the concert exceeds 79 minutes, you'll have to make it a double-CD album, in which case when you rip with SmartRipper, rip the chapters TOGETHER so that the first rip is 79 minutes or less, and the second rip of the concert's conclusion is 79 minutes or less (for 80 minute CD-Rs). Do not rip the chapters separately, or you will create annoying breaks on your audio CD version of the concert.
