    Hello,

I would like some assistance as to how I can play the file.
I have bought Chinese media player. It can record video but when I tried to open it it does not have a file extension.

I have tried all codecs and adding file extension (eg. avc, avi, mov, mp4, m4a...) but no luck.

I have attached sample video which is just a few sec.
Can somebody out there help open this video file?

    Thank you

    This is sample file.

It did not have file extension so I have put M4A so I can upload.

  3. I don't see anything identifiable in that sample. And 64 KB wouldn't be enough for any type of video.

Thank you for looking. The file was for just few second clip.
Attached is about a min clip.

    Any investigation would be appreciated.

No difference, the file type cannot be identified by MediaInfo, and when I open it in a hex editor, there is nothing that I can understand.

Probably it's something that only your device can handle.
You might try to get in touch with its manufacturer, though I serious doubt they will ever want to help you.

Thank you for having a look at them.
Yes I did try asking manufacture about file format... but no response for 2 weeks...although getting quick comment here...

Thank you for those who spend time looking into this

  7. I agree with El Heggunte, the files aren't of any common A/V file format.

Yes info by gspot didn't have anything. All I know at this stage is it is using SLI chip and H.246 encoding.
