Hi
I have a problem i try to solve for hours and hours... and no solution![]()
I cannot open a .ts MPEG4 H.264 file - recording capped from HD channel from DVB-S2
I know you have to have a DirectShow Input plugin in VD>
I also read that i must have Haali Splitter
BUT EVERY TIME I TRY TO OPEN THE FILE I HAVE THE ERROR MESSAGE :
Code:Unable to set filename on media detector : hr:80004005
or
Code:Unable to create source filter : hr:80004005
I tried installing everything - K-Lite codecs, AC3 Filter, Haali Splitter, ffdshow, CoreAVC - AND NOT WORKING !
Its weird as before I reinstalled Windows IT WORKED somehow....simply the file opened and I could encode it easily to any format...
Please help me what to do !!! Im so tired of trying to get it work![]()

It's possible that your file is damaged
If you use avisynth to frameserve, it will be more reliable.
Install avisynth, open a text file in notepad in the same directory as your video, type the following, and rename the extension to .avs from .txt (change the filename to match)
DirectShowSource("video.ts")
Then open that .avs file in vdub -
Can play .ts files in DirectShow based players (WMP for example)?
When install Haali Media Splitter, set support for MPEG-TS?
Can try with other source filter - latest Gabest MPEG Splitter.
Other... can use DGAVCIndex/DGAVCDec and Avisynth script.VideoAudio.pl - Serwis o technologii wideo & audio
