Anyone else back order this game for the ps3?Can't wait to play cause the ps2 versions look like crap now on a 46" sony lcd.4 days left till it get mailed to me.

Stupid question time -

a - do you have the component cable for the ps2? The ps3 component cable is the same thing fyi.

b - does your set have component inputs? (its a dying connection now I know)

c - if you don't have a component input you can buy a component to hdmi adapter online

d - yes it will still only be 480p but that is better than 480i - I know it helped on my wii and ps2 (got rid of the wii after I got tales of symphonia chronicles for the ps3, no longer needed it).

E - if it's only one game you were waiting for then you obviously don't need to fiddle with cables and adpaters. But if you still have a large collection you still play on the ps2 consider the component and or component to hdmi route.

And no I'm not a final fantasy fan - sorry. I like the tales of series though

I got the component cable for my ps2 years ago,i'm just being biased comparing it to the newer ff13 and ff13-2 games,it only displays in 4:3 and has graphics compared to games 10 years ago or so.

Yeah the 4:3 part sucks.

And it is hard to go back to sd after the hd revolution.

I'm sure all that particle stuff like when the guy stepped on the glass or whatever it was was a pipedream when they made the original.

Sorry but I have too many games I haven't finished or even started yet.

I'm 50 hours into assassins creed black flag and I'm only 58% complete and haven't finished the main mission yet. I also have the alveline (spelling?) ps3 dlc and freedom cry and I bought the liberation hd ps vita remaster on the ps3.

I'll be stuck in the animus for a long time before I even touch another game.

Though i did preorder tales of xillia 2 even though I haven't finished 1 yet.......

Been playing the hd version and got the jecht shot and now i gotta do the blitzball,hope i can get Tidus up to lvl 3 to do that shot and win the game.
