  1. ok here is the story

    i have this old vhs tapes in my room and i want to put the sound(its an arabic dub for cartoons and anime)on the new dvd quality of the original series like smurfs or tmnt(they are rare the Arabian company did not release a dvd of those)

    and here is my problems

    1-do i need more than adobe premier?

    2-what is the best software to make the voice clear and enhance it..also to sync with the the new picture of the dvd video(on mac please)also a guide on how to do so would be useful because the voice some times comes late

    3-do you have a guide for exporting into avi of 200 or 250 mb size or less for premier?

    On Mac? You're pretty much screwed. ProTools maybe, but that's not what it was designed for or excels at. Can you put Parallels or VMWare Fusion on? If so, load Windows XP, and then you'll have quite a few options for restoring audio.

    Yes, it will take more than Premiere for the audio clean-up.

    I don't know what version of Premiere you have. In general, yes, splicing video and audio together works fine here. I may even suggest Womble MPEG Video Wizard.

    Guide for exporting? The media exporter is very easy, few pages of settings. Export as H.264 if you need AVI for viewing, after editing is done. Honestly, I suggest MPEG-2 DVD export instead, for best quality.
