I know this probably has been asked many times, but I can't find the answer.
I ripped a movie (Don't say a word) using Gordian Knot. Everything went fine, until I tried to use DVD2AVI. I have no audio after it is converted.
I can play the .vob files using PowerDVD and I have good audio. But no audio after DVD2AVI. I selected the track #1 (which is were the audio track is located) and checked Demux all tracks under dolby digital. I have even tried selecting track 2, 3, etc. Still no luck. I'm sure I'm just doing something wrong, but I don't know what.
Thanks,
Rich![]()

poopyhead,
Should I hear the audio when I preview the movie(F5), before I actually save it to HD?

Well I just tried it using the settings you suggest(poopyhead) and now I have 2 files...1 .wav and 1 d2v file. The .wav, obviously, has no video. And the d2v file, well I don't know what to do with it. I have nothing to open it with (divx, win media player, etc.)

dvd2avi frameserves to an encoder such as tmpgenc...in tmpgenc, u load the .d2v file as the video file and the .wav file, obviously, as the audio file....you need to encode it to (S)VCD
