    i've successfully frameserved into tempgenc with virtual dub. however, when i tried to frameserve last time, i get an error msg in tempgenc when i tried to load the .vdr signpost file into tempgenc. tempgenc gave me error msg like "file cannot be opened or is unsupported". i've followed the exact same procedures as before when i was able to successfully frameserve, any suggestions would be appreciated.

    sorry for this post guys, just figured out the problem (stupid really)...

    looks like the .vdr signpost file used to frameserve by virtual dub into tempgenc can't handle directories with too many characters.....cuz i put the .sub subtitle file into a directory named with a lot of characters....so i just changed the directory to 1 word..and redid dvd2avi, etc...and it worked
