I have been trying to create a VCD from a DVD with no luck. When using MacMPEG2Decoder, I click the transform button to change the size and the window becomes so big that I can't click ok to close the window. Since I couldn't close it, I went ahead and tried to decode the .m2v and it would only decode the very first picture, the PG-13 screen, which is about 350K. What am I doing wrong?

Try using a different version of MacMPEG2Decoder. (Theres another program out there with a similar name, MacMPEG2Encoder -- make sure you're using the right one.)
There is a setting in the MacMPEG2Decoder preferences to stop encoding at a scene change or something. Tick that OFF! That used to perplex me early on that it's even an option! Who'd want that, anyway?
