I have successfully backed up my DVD to my hard drive, and compressed it into a DivX avi file. However when I view it there is a slight clip in the sound and tick every second.I know it’s not my computer.
This is what I am doing:
DVD Decrypter v3.0.0.17
For grabbing the VOB's
DVDx v1.8
For compressing to DivX
However when I view the file I have clips and ticks in the file. Vary annoying![]()
Please help!

Throw away DVDx!. ( All versions! )
That's your problem.
Use DVD2AVI to create a project file from your VOB's, and use other methods to encode to DIVx.

Ok I did this and it seems to have worked so far, the sound is great and the video is as well... I just need advice on what I should use to mix and compress the .avi file and .wav file... I am looking to put it in DivX format... any help would be appreciated.
