"Dazzle"d Newbie

I'm such a newbie I'm still trying to burn my first VCD. I spent all my wife's money so we could get Dell's Premium Movie Bundle. It includes a Dazzle box and VideoWave 4.0 software. I have done my best to read and follow the instructions but whenever I try to capture from my digital camcorder using my IEEE1394 connection I'm told as follows: "An error occured while trying to set the capture filename. Error: Class no registered." If anyone familiar with this system can tell me what obvious goof-up I've done I'd be forever grateful.

first off getting a Dell pc is not the way to go for video editting. If you can build your own PC or go to a store that build them from part's amd use Windows2000. XP suck's!!!!. go to http://www.shopharmony.com/ they have the best price on the Dazzle 2 this dazzle best product's for VCD and SVCD for use of S-video cables. and only need a P2 400 works great. If I was you take back you PC if you can and build your own pc
