DVDstyler error opening filters

Good morning,

people who already answered me are welcome, and new ones welcome too !


You probably already know I try to create karaoke-clips from my Bollywood DVDs.
It works all right with Aegisub and Virtualdubmod. I get avi files.


As my friends and I don't have the same voice timbre ., I create several audi tracks.
Maybe there is another (and better) way, but here is mine :


1. I create a DVD-file with Freemake-Video-Converter
2. I demux the files with PGCdemux
3. I extract the wav file with VLC
4. I transpose the audio file, creating 5 ou 6 new files.
5. I remux everything with ifoedit


If now I burn it on a DVD with Nero express, that's all right as long as I have only one clip.
But as soon as I add clips with the same names (VTS_01) Nero express refuses to burn, that's normal.


So I tried DVDstyler and added all my clips.
But then I got the issue message : error opening filters



I thought DVDstyler could use multi-tracks, so what is wrong ?

Yes . 8 tracks http://www.dvdstyler.org/docs/dvd_styler_guide.pdf page 14.

However, my guess is that the error is related to your Subtitle.

very good guess !


I had made bad subtitles, so I fixed them.
And I discovered another issue : one of my audio tracks was defective, too.


Now, it's all right, I have all my clips with multi-tracks on a single DVD, thank you very much !
