Mediainfo is a program to give you information about a video file. Just follow the highlighted link. I use 'Tree View' most times.

  5. Mediainfo is an invaluable free tool for determining what is inside a media file.

    Download it from here: https://www.videohelp.com/tools/MediaInfo
(Anything on the tools section of this site is reliably safe from malware)

When you install be sure to read each screen and refuse any adware that comes bundled with it.

Once installed, drop your file on the Mediainfo icon, switch to "tree" view and post the results here.

Any other information you can provide such as whether this video was shot on a phone is also useful.

Not a problem. For some reason it has gotten more complicated lately. What I do is open the file in Tree view, then under 'File' to the left side of the program, choose 'Export>Text' and save it somewhere easy to find. Then in your post, choose 'Upload files/Manage attachments' below the post window and browse to your Mediainfo file. Then 'Upload', close the window and 'Submit Reply' of your post to the forum.

Try use a lower resolution like around 720x576 or lower. Most avi hardware players doesn't support hd resolutions.

Or try other converters like free xvid4psp 5, xmedia recode, freemake video converter. Use the avi dvd player/hardware presets with xvid video and mp3 audio.
