  1. Recently I read a few interesting articles comparing the human eyes with a camera and the similar problems of both. How we see neuron noise instead of film grain, our peripheral vision, geometric distortion etc. and it gives the overall impression that you wouldn't want your camera to film the way your eyes do but what it fails to mention is camera shake, the most annoying problem with non-professionally recorded footage IMO.

    So I was wondering, do our eyes naturally stabilize? While we're walking does the vitreous humor in our eyes keep the lens from bouncing up and down too much? I recall seeing things perfectly stabilized when I walk the last time I checked.

    My understanding was that it's our brain (and inner ear?) that deshakes.
