Hi,
I have recently made an important home movie using my VHS-C camcorder. Rather foolishly I used an old tape and the first 5-10 minutes are very noisy with regular 'noise bars' flicking around the screen. As the video goes on it gets better.
Consequently my capture using Virtualdub is just the same. My question is does anyone know of a filter which could at least make a half decent attempt to clear these lines. I have tried various filters on Virtual Dub plus those within TMPGEnc but most just seem to blur the image without touching the bars at all.
Anyone got any ideas ?
Cheers, David.
