  1. Hello all,
It's my first post and I hope you can help me
I encoded my DV video (from Canon MV3i) to MPEG2 directly with the trial version of Video Studio 6, after that I encoded the MPEG2 video to DIVX 4.12 format but now I have audio file (MPEG2 format) in another file. So my problem is:
How can I join video (divx format) and audio (mpeg2 format) togheter ? I tried with Virtualdub and Nandub but it seems that these programs don't like audio in mpeg2 format, they don't recognize it. I could convert MPEG2 audio in MP3 and then use Nandub but I tried with LAME encoder but this encoder wants only WAV file to encode...
Please help me... I want to put my video of my holiday on 2 CDs, but with audio !!!

  2. You have to convert your MPEG Audio file to Wave first and then use Virtual Dub to mux it back together with MP3 compression.

Use WinAmp (Cheap and quick) to convert it to a wav using the DiskWriter output.
