Avidemux 2.6 thinks my tv rec are 50fps

why is this when the video 25fps also when converted the video looks crap because of this problem with the fps and no i am using a high bitrate

before you click download untick the box

Try add the resample FPS filter and change it to 25fps.

Or add the Change fps filter and set the source fps to 25fps and destination fps to 25fps.

Or try convert with something else...

Jeez. With a clip that small why not just upload it here ?. There are so many software options/home page hi-jackers there that makes the whole thing pretty unsafe.

BTW avidemux 2.5 reports 25 fps but it does not like the vid and plays it too slow. VLC played it fine.

Avidemux 2.6.4 handles it fine here, shows 25fps. Unusual audio rate 24,000Hz. Could that be causing the problem with whatever you're trying to do with this file?

might be that i have the version before that one i will download the new one now
