  1. Hi there newbie with TMPgenc here so if u have to dumb it down for me feel free ya My problem is this

    I record off antenna to my HTPC a DVB-T channel in 1080i which uses use MPEG4/AVC compression. The original recordings are in .TS files. I then use TMPgenc to cut out the adverts and re-encode to MP4/720p. The first few times i did so things went ok but recently the encoding freezes at just 4-6% and i have no idea how to troubleshoot this

    Tried reinstall it?

    Or maybe upgrade to tmpgenc video mastering works 5 or try the trial.

    Or try some free alternative like video to video converter, under tools can you cut and then reconvert to any format. Or freemake video converter, use the scissor to cut. Or avidemux 6 might work.

    Hmm thks for the tips - i tried out VideoRedo TVSuite V4 and it looks easy to use and works
