  1. lets say i have made a mpg file from divx
    so how much i can fit on one (700 megs) cd without overburning
    i have read that someon has 800 and more , but i have burned with nero and i have fit only 705 megs , but i have read that it's nero's problem

  3. right, first your talking about mbs arnt you?
    if not:
    well thats not really the case if you gonna be putting it on so your making a vcd/svcd from a divx. the thing that counts this time is time. so depending on the bitrate you use you could get say 80 mins on a 700mb labeled disk, if your making an svcd and you want a higher quality you would have a higher bit rate per min, so you would have only say 60 mins on it. so the time isnt always what it says on the label.
    if so:
    it the same with the mb labeling, because if you were to burn data onto a 700mb disk you would get 700mb of data on it. but if your burning a vcd/svcd is not the same and you will fit an 800mb mpg onto this 700mb disk because of the way it burns it (see diffent mode)
