  1. Hello,

I have two copies of a movie with different language tracks and I'd like to make a dual audio disc. The problem is that while the main movie is the same for both, they have different openings/endings. Would it be possible in dvd lab to put all of the video elements together and create 2 chapter playlists and to specify which language track gets played with which playlist? If so, how? I've only used dvd lab once before for something very simple so providing as much detail as possible would be appreciated. I would also like to have a subtitle track to play with one of the playlists. Thanks.

It looks like you want 1 movie with two audio tracks, subtitle track and different beginning and ending.
You have to place two audio tracks and subtitle into a movie and use a menu to select which audio and subtitle to play, than you connect subtitle selection button to a play list. You have to choose subtitle where for one play list subtitle will be NO for other will be YES.
You will have two play lists where each play list will have (beginning1- movie1 - ending1). Other play list will be (beginning 2- movie1- ending2).

  3. Thanks for the reply, Tinker. Would it be possible for you to set up the menus/connections/playlists and take a pic of it? I'm not sure how many menus I need or how they connect to the movie. I'd like to get a clearer idea before I start.

I can try. It will take me a few days to set it up as I am kind of busy right now.
You can also check this site, it is an official site for DVD Lab.
There are guys who work with it all the time.

I had some time so here are the instructions.
You will need Root and 3 extra menus see connection picture.
Root menu will have one button "play movie" linked to "Audio" menu.
Audio menu will look like a picture "Audio"
Once you make all text clone this 2x to SUB1 and SUB2
Audio menu will have 2 buttons "Audio1", "Audio2" they will link to SUB1 and SUB 2 respectively.
SUB menu All the buttons will have link
Sub1 will have AUDIO1 linked to Audio1 of the movie ( Audio2 just text -no button),Subtitle "ON" button will be liked to Subtitle track of the movie "OFF" button will be linked to "Subtitle OFF"in subtitle drop down window.
"Play Movie" button will link to "Play List 1"
Second audio menu will be the same except "AUDIO2" will link to second audio track (AUDIO1-No button) and "PLAY" will link to Play List 2.
When you do Audio and Sub link make sure that drop down window has "+Restart Menu" checked.

There is other way, using Register, but this one is easy.
