    Hi everyone. New to the site. I joined because I am stumped on how to accomplish this video conversion.

    Long story short, I have a DVD from the police department. It's security camera footage from our security cameras. We would like this in a format that we can share on youtube or put on a USB however the cops use this MCD player and file format. I have no idea how to get this into one file that I can upload. I am totally a newb at video.

    I attached a file to show you guys the contents on the DVD.

    It looks as if the disc comes with some sort of "converter" program(at the bottom of the list).

    Yes, you will HAVE to use the supplied (proprietary?) player app to convert to something more standard...

    it would be interesting to see how they have protected them. if you could post a small "D file" off the dvd it could be examined.
