    my divx file is a dvd rip so it looks like a dvd when played but when i convert to mpeg through TMPGenc it makes it full screen so it doesn't look like dvd anymore. any settings that I should know to set to make it look like a dvd?

    make sure you keep the same aspect ratio, you'll find a setting to do just thatin the advanced tab.
