Is there a way to capture Mpeg with a WinTV card? I capture AVI's im happy with that dont get me wrong - but it would be nice to capture straight to Mpeg for burning without having to encode -
But this WinTV GO card is great for the price so if there isn't a way -- Oh well

You can try PowerVCR or WinVCR
http://www.vcdhelp.com/tools.htm#capture
capture directly to mpeg1 or mpeg2.
