I want to find out what was the buffer size when the video was encoded into h.264.
I am transcoding to target a hardware which has a specific buffer size. I just want to know if the buffer size is what we want so we wont have to transcode. I tried media info buffer size parameters using the API but its empty in case of AVC video format.

you need a buffer analyzer tool
e.g. elecard buffer analyzer

You can try neuron2's vbv checker
