I'm a web designer building a video site that will serve up streaming videos and downloads (yoga not porn, I swear). The video editor is about to start exporting from FCP and I told her to match the format, size and quality of a commonly used sample video called Big Buck Bunny (854 x 480). I've been using that vid as a test and it streams fine and looks good.
The videos will be hosted on an Amazon S3 account, then streamed through an HTML5 video player on a WordPress site. My question is: are the specs I'm requesting from the editor appropriate for what I'm doing? I think I'm on the right track, but I'd love any feedback from the experts. Thanks!
