    I was watching a Linus Tech video on the Corsair 200R case recently. Linus commented that they had already installed the motherboard standoffs add you had better remove the two for microATX boards because they would short-out an ATX motherboard and suddenly my brain turned on. This is why I was having a problem on my computer with the hard drives cutting in and out. I removed the motherboard and sure enough there were those two microATX standoffs. I removed those un-needed standoffs and problem solved. FYI

    I missed your post on your issue but.....

    Ummm.... yeah.....

    If there is NOT a mounting hole in any mobo for a standoff, you should not have a standoff there behind it.

    I mean, that's kind of common sense.
    Have you ever looked at the back of a mobo ?

    You're lucky nothing shorted out bad enough to fry something or your mobo.
