You have interlaced VC-1 in this video. BDRB is infamous for its problems in re-encoding interlaced VC-1. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. There's nothing you can do when it doesn't work. If you want to waste your time you can go the official Doom9 forums and complain about it, but all you'll get is the author's sycophantic followers who will respond and tell you how stupid you are because if you had set up BDRB correctly, it would have worked for you because it is infallible and it simply cannot fail to encode anything when set up correctly. This is of course bs. Even the author himself admits that he lacks a consistently working way to handle interlaced VC-1.

All you can do that I know is to NOT re-encode anything and just burn the rip as is to a BD-R DL disc. I've tried playing with all of the options in BDRB that could possibly help, but once you hit this problem, it's almost impossible to get around it. You try turning off the settings for "de-interlace interlaced video" (something like that) and that ITVC setting if you have them turned on, but probably they won't make any difference whether on or off.

By the way, interlaced VC-1 is somewhat rare so the sycophants have quite probably never run into it. "Battlestar Galactica" uses it more than you might think in their region A BluRay discs and I've even seen it used in a few discs of the US show "The Office".

Just so you'll know, if you see VC-1 as the "Source Video" setting and either 29.97 or 25 fps under "Rate/Length" then you have interlaced VC-1.

    Moron. From your post above:
    - Source Video: VC-1, 720x480
    - Rate/Length: 29,970fps, 35 045 frames

I'm done here if you're not smart enough to understand what people tell you when they try to help you.

dude, that's just too funny LOL. first you rip into the people that hang out at the doom9 forums with:

If you want to waste your time you can go the official Doom9 forums and complain about it, but all you'll get is the author's sycophantic followers who will respond and tell you how stupid you are because if you had set up BDRB correctly, it would have worked for you because it is infallible and it simply cannot fail to encode anything when set up correctly. then when he doesn't doesn't understand what you were talking about you call him a moron and say he's not smart enough to understand when people try and help him.

    ROTFLMAO.
