Which Avermedia card for Capturing HD

I have a Satellite HD service and I would like to capture HD programming from it. I know the HDMI signal will be encrypted, but I see some forum members talking about an Avermedia HD card that can bypass the HDCP encryption with modified drivers or something. But I was not sure which exact model of Avermedia card to buy. On Avermedia site there were many models listed as having the capability to capture HD material. I am not interested in 3D capturing, just plain 1080i HD or below. Also, it would be good (but not mandatory) if it can capture audio through Toshlink (optical).

Can anyone please help with link of the exact Avermedia card that can do this?

Another question is, will Avermedia cards do encoding in hardware or require CPU to do it?

I have a PC with Windows 7 Home 32-bit. I plan to watch these programs by storing them on HDD and playing via a media player.

The AVerMedia product you are asking about is their model number C027. This card only does software encoding, and does not record audio via a Tosink connection. If you want something that provides hardware encoding and/or that captures audio via a toslink connection, you will need to buy a different capture device and use an HDCP stripper of some kind. However, I don't have a recommendation to give you for a device to use for stripping HDCP, and as far as I know AVerMedia doesn't make HD capture devices that can record from toslink, although some do use hardware encoding.
