Hybrid VCD/Audio CD help

Hi, I've seen some posts on this, but 40 burns later, I have yet to make a succesful VCD/CDDA disc. Any tips or pointers? Has anyone been succesful at this?

In Mixed Mode, my DVD players still favor the audio tracks. Other attempts at placing audio files in a CDDA folder have failed. If anyone could walk me through the steps I'd really appreciate it.

What software are you using to make the VCD ?. Its not a regular audio/cd software that's used its a VCD program.

Easy cd creator comes with "video cd creator", Nero has "Video cd" in its list. And better still there is Video Pack 5.

The VCD has 2 tracks, this is all set up correctly with a VCD authoring program, Not a audio cd or a data cd/mixed mode.
